The museum is largely wheelchair accessible. Please note that the Boerenbondsmuseum is located in and around several farmhouses, original historic buildings, fields, and farmland, where the landscape layout of the past has been preserved as much as possible.

Accessibility of Buildings

The museum, village square, and most buildings are generally accessible for wheelchair users. The main building has an elevator that takes you to the upper floor.

The fields, farmland, the field chapel of Father Gerlachus van den Elsen, the NCB Building, and the long‑fronted farmhouse are located along unpaved paths, which may be more difficult to access in rainy weather. The field chapel is situated further from the main grounds, so a visit by wheelchair is not recommended.

The attic of the Weaver’s House cannot be visited by people with limited mobility due to the steep staircase.

Toilets

There are toilets available for people with disabilities and wheelchair users.

Wheelchairs

A limited number of wheelchairs is available for visitors with reduced mobility. It is not possible to reserve a wheelchair.
