The parade offers a lively display of various traditional crafts practised throughout the season at the Boerenbondsmuseum. It also showcases a selection of tools, machines and garments from the museum’s collection. The procession is enriched with beautiful carriages, horse‑drawn wagons and reenactments of historical customs and traditions.
It feels as if history unfolds before the eyes of the audience. The parade starts at 14:00 near the castle and moves through the centre of Gemert towards the Boerenbondsmuseum. In the afternoon, the museum opens its doors free of charge.
